Outpatient Program
Our H.O.P.E Outpatient Program is perfectly designed for individuals stepping down from an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or for those suffering from mild to moderate substance abuse.
During the outpatient program at Spring Gardens Recovery, individuals will have the opportunity to live at home while attending scheduled treatment groups and individual sessions. These groups and sessions will help guide them through all of the various stages of their recovery.
Outpatient Program Services for Addiction
Through individualized clinical recommendations during our initial assessments, individuals will be placed in up to 8 hours of services a week.
Participants can expect to participate in the following services:
- Group Therapy
- Individual Therapy
- Family Therapy & Support
- Case Management Services
- Urinary Analysis (once/week)
Group Therapy
During group therapy, a group of less than eight participants meets with a trained counselor to benefit from an open discussion and support from the other members who are experiencing similar and relatable issues.
The goal of group therapy is to form a connection with others, to get familiar with having and using a support system, and to learn to talk about experiences without judgment.
The group provides an environment in which you can learn how others approach and solve their problems, and it’s a safe place to practice your own skills.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one counseling with a qualified psychologist is an essential part of the rehabilitation process.
Through individual therapy, you can get a better understanding of what were the past traumas and triggers that fueled your addiction. You’ll also learn how to re-shape your thoughts and beliefs to ultimately change your coping behaviors.
Family Therapy/Support
Family therapy can be structured in many different ways, but the end goals are to:
- Help family members to better understand the addiction process, both in a general sense and in how it relates to your unique situation.
- Improve relationships with family members who will be critical allies in supporting you throughout your recovery.
- Create a healthier dynamic inside your home. If the family works well as a unit and can support each member, that will have a profound impact on the way each person functions outside of the home, which can lead to more enjoyment and satisfaction overall.
Case Management Services
Case management helps recovering patients get access to the services they require in order to successfully continue their treatment. You will be assigned a case manager who will plan your services, facilitate your ongoing treatment, monitor and assess your progress, and advocate for your needs.
Urinary Analysis (once per week)
A weekly urinary analysis is required to ensure you’re not using any illicit substances and is also put in place to keep you accountable during your recovery.
Benefits of Outpatient Addiction Treatment
Treatment while still being present for life’s responsibilities
Outpatient services allow recovering individuals – or those with a mild or moderate substance abuse disorder – to get treatment and support while they perform daily functions like going to work, school, and caring for loved ones.
An ideal step down from inpatient treatment
For those who are stepping down from a higher level of care, this level creates a smoother transition back into a productive lifestyle.
Repair relationships
Allows for a period of time when a patient can repair relationships with family and friends who have been greatly impacted by their loved one’s addiction.
Maintain lasting recovery
Offers recovering individuals the opportunity to maintain their commitment to sobriety while continuing to work on healing the root cause of their addiction.
